Two landslides caused at least eleven dead and numerous missing persons on the Indonesian island of Java announced.

Heavy rains caused an alud on Saturday night in the city of Sumedang, 150 km east of the capital, Jakarta.

There they traveled, to help the victims, numerous inhabitants and a rescue team, who were also buried by another slippage, said Seni Wulandari, a spokeswoman for the Bandung rescue services agency.

"We're still trying to figure out how many missing people are after the second avalanche, as many came to help after the first avalanche," he added.
